<p>^ That would only work if the girl was actually coming on to you. Getting called attractive and having a girl make a move on you are two different things.</p>
<p>In all seriousness, it would be a nice confidence boost. At the very least, I would accept it as a complement (assuming she wasn’t taking the ****) and maybe even appreciate her as a friend a little more.</p>
<p>It’s confusing though, because I get called “cute” occasionally, which (apparently) has nothing to do with sexual attraction when it comes from a girl.</p>

<p>There’s no difference. It’s just nice to flip a compliment back in response. If people don’t want to talk, they generally won’t bother to compliment you. If it’s a polite compliment, then it’s nice to at least respond in kind before going about your business.</p>
<p>And I get called cute, and it can have everything to do with attraction. It just depends.</p>
<p>Depends on the girl. If she’s attractive, schwing. If not, awks.</p>
