.......what do you do in life? Sports are my life. I play sports. I watch sports. I follow sports. NFL, MLB, college football, college basketball, NBA, international soccer, tennis, and golf. What else do you do with your spare time? Read books? Text? (LOL) Seriously I don't understand you people.

Read, volunteer, work etc. Don’t get me wrong, sports are great, but I don’t see how people can play them 24/7.

you were right when you said you didnt fit in on this forum. Do you just come on here to get a glimpse of other lifestyles lol

you don’t have to play them 24/7, but at least watch them. this time of the year you get college football, preseason NFL, MLB september pennant races, and almost the NHL preseason!! in two weeksssss

I’m with haters, like, what would you do with all that extra spare time. I probably spend an average of 20-30 hrs./week playing or watching sports during the season for one of the two sports I play. I could probably be a lot more appealing to colleges if I had all that extra time but whatever, I’d rather throw the ball around.

Well the kids I know who don’t play sports sit on the asses all day playing video games.

Hmmmm.

Though a few do stuff like play lots of cello/compose music, read history…

Yeah what else would you possibly do on fall weekends? Sports on Friday Night. Then Saturday and Sunday are devoted days. Watching games. Tailgating. Playing backyard football. I can’t think of anything better to do with my time. I don’t like reading more than I have to. I do work. And I volunteer a little. But that still leaves a bunch of time open.

I probably dedicate about 30 hours a week to sports. Playing/watching/attending games/ following.

Really? Personally,
“Well the kids I know who don’t play sports sit on the asses all day playing video games.”
I’m not this. I hate video games:eek:
I do watch sports. Believe me, I love watching the NFL, but that doesn’t take up all of my time. Volunteering takes up a few hours, but then there is ALWAYS homework or studying for the SATs to do.

Hey, I still have time to do other EC’s and volunteer and still pull about a 3.85 in hard classes, but with another 30ish hours a week, I don’t know what I’d do.

What about girls?

Sports are pretty boring. There really is no joy in watching a bunch of guys tackle each other trying to get a ball(football, soccer, basketball, doesn’t matter). It sort of makes the majority of fans who don’t play these sports look rather sad imo. Like living vicariously through someone else.

I just like to stay in shape without worrying about sports. Not to mention surfing the web, going to the bookstore and just read heh.

@Liverpool- That’s what the summer is for.

^^^^Wow, really? Maybe you just work faster than me:)
^^^Haha, I’m sure girls can answer too:)
^^I agree with most of that. Thank you! lol

Yeah, I’m just curious for hatersunite’s answer about girls.

And lol wartsandall, I’m pretty sure you know my opinion on sports. My username is my favourite soccer team <3

Very true:) Do you watch soccer 24/7? lol I like soccer too, but again, it doesn’t take up all of my time. It’s nice to watch though!:)

lol no, not 24/7. I just LOVE it. I want to live in Liverpool when I’m older. And I don’t just watch it, I play it too. but there are so many soccer leagues i probably could watch it 24/7 if i wanted to.

O! You play soccer too? Very cool! I played for 6 years but then I quit.

Why’d you quit?

And I think soccer players are the hottest sports players in the world, lmao. So since I’m a girl, I have TWO reasons for watching ;)

Guys who completely dislike sports are weird.
