I just checked our high school web site that lists admission/rejections by SAT and CPA. Frankly, you are about .4 low on weighted GPA and about 80 points lower than the average SAT for math and CR. However, there was one kid admitted with your scores. I would rate your changes of geting accepted as a reach with about a 10-20% chance.

If you're sure about GW, apply EDI or II and you'll have a pretty good shot at getting in.

I can't apply early because I don't know if I can afford it..

Does apply EDI/II make a huge difference?

If you can't apply ED, work on getting your SATs up to at least the mid-600s on all sections. In any case, apply and see what happens, but at this point GW is a bit of a reach. As for ED, yes, historically at GW it has made a significant difference.

researchmaven, do you attend GW?

I was wondering how much you're paying a year to go there?

During my campus visit this summer the admissions representative proudly told us that as entering freshmen in September, 2007 the cost of tuition, fees room and board and all other charges would exceed $50,000 for the freshman year.

This is on the high end compared to other top private schhols I am looking at.

Sunshinee-

My D is a freshman at GW. She has a merit scholarship that reduces the $37,500 tuition to approximately $20,000, comparable to OOS tuition at top state schools. She applied ED with very good stats for GW.
