<p>I'm not sure yet, but I'm leaning towards GW out of my choices and I'd be heading into the Elliott School. I'll also be at the Honors reception on the 23rd, and hopefully I can finalize my choice with that visit to campus. I've been to DC plenty of times, and I visited GW specifically earlier this year, but it really wasnt enough to help me decide. Maybe I'll see some of you at the reception!</p>

I got into the Honors program at Ohio State and obviously got into GW and got waitlisted at Georgetown.</p>

Rejected g-town and tufts. g-town was like the love of my life, so i'm leaning towards going to GWU so i can get to know teh city and transfer after a year.</p>
<p>i also wasn't impressed by the honors program at Ohio State. There were so many people in it, it wasn't even that special. I thought about transferring to Georgetown too, but I got a pretty good financial aid package from GW so I think I'm just going to stay there.</p>
<p>yeah im considering trying to transfer to georgetown after my freshman year at GW, but we'll see how it goes. Georgetown was my dream school as well, so im not ready to give up on it. Plus, at least if i or you transfer, its not like your friends at GW wont be just a few minutes away...</p>

<p>I was on GW and AU campuses the last two days and made my decision to go to GW yesterday (i even got my sweatshirt!)</p>
<p>I was pretty torn between GW and AU but I really felt like GW was right for me after it all.</p>
<p>The honors program really made a difference to me - the reception was nice and the advisors were really really helpful. Was anyone else at the Honors reception this monday (the 25?).</p>
<p>I really want to be in Somers Hall on Mt Vernon because its such nice dorms, or else the honors floor on Lafayette - basically anywhere but Thurston, because I'm not so much into the party scene thats big there. Anyone else WANT to be on Mt Vernon?</p>
<p>norskvkng07 and voguepanda-Please don't come to GW. Coming to a fine school like GW with the intention of transferring after one year is a very negative way to begin a college career. Go to one of your other choices if you can't come to GW with an open, positive mind.</p>
<p>eainco i know how you feel with the party scene. Im not a big on partying either. however, the themes at thurston fit with my interests, the fact that its so close to the elliott school, and that im hoping to get a double instead of a quad or six will help i think. although if i were in a quad i dont think it would be bad because id instantly have three people to hang with and im sure i could find something in common with one of them at least. either way im not worried about the party scene ill just go to the library to study if its too bad although i heard from a student that lives in thurston right now that they study in their room. so who knows.</p>
