How do people think GW's financial aid is? Good or Bad? What will a person who parents make around 94,000ish probably receive?

The annual salary is only 1 component of Needs-based FA. Merit aid is usually based on Standardized Test scores and will probably vary each year depending on the overall strength of the class, available funds, economy etc.

I recommend you use one of the many EFC calculators out there to get an idea of your expected family contribution. Johns Hopkins has an excellent EFC calculator and will actually help you calculate an “award” estimate and tell how much you can recieve in grants, loans, work-study etc.

Also, since you have to fill out the CSS Profile for GW - you can use the college boards site to estimate.

What I don’t know is - how close does GW come to meeting the demonstrated “need” calculated from cost of attendance - EFC. Some schools say 100% and no loans like Davidson in NC. Most don’t meet 100% and most offer some amount of loans. Each FA app varies.

The nice thing about RD students is you can compare FA offers both merit/non-merit and “potentially” negotiate “matching” amounts with other schools. We were somewhat successful with my “D” doing this. We’ll see @ GW this April!
