<p>Can anyone give me information about the honors program at GW? I've been on the website, but I'm kind of confused as to what the program entails. </p>

<p>There is honors housing. This year it's in Lafayette Hall; I don't know if it'll be the same next year. The honors program pretty much consists of more general courses, like, this year, the two required honors courses were "Origins of Modern Thought" and a sciences proseminar focusing on global warming. The science class has pretty much been a failure and there have been a lot of kids dropping out because of it, but I like the honors classes because of the opportunities to get closer to a professor and the small classes (right now I'm in an honors creative writing class and I'm really loving it).</p>
