<p>I was researching on GW merit awards and I found this little snippet:</p>
<p>"Students eligible to receive GW tuition scholarship assistance (including the GW Guaranteed Grant, Board of Trustees Scholarship, and GW Family Grant) from two (2) or more sources generally can only receive the greater award, not both. This would include Employee Benefits. "</p>
<p>My parents work for a university that offers tuition benefits (70% off tuition based on their university's tuition rates), and correct me if I'm wrong, but would GW's policies mean that I would have to choose the merit aid OR the employee tuition discount? There's no way I can combine the two?</p>
<p>Speaking of financial aid, how is GW's need-based aid?</p>
