I never said he was doing a fabulous job. He is mediocre, yet by far better than the top democrats could have been. Therefore, I am glad he is my president. I wanted Mccain to get the nomination in 2000, but it didn't happen, so I have to support Bush instead.

I know it kind of took away from the movie. Oh well :)

Islam is a religion of peace, what the hell are you talking about. We are fighting radical muslims, not muslims in general.

Read some of Patton's writings?? Yeah, since warfare hasn't changed in 50 years AND Patton was dealing with global terrorism.... right....

Speaking of muslims has anybody read "Do they hear you when you cry?"

I am about half way through it and it is really good albeit a little repititive. It shows both the ups and downs of islam.

atomicfusion, you rock. i salute you.

I totally agree.

On CBC last night they interviewed Muslims and non - muslims on their views of the charges of 17 men. From that interview, I realized that muslims are peaceful. They are constantly prejudiced against because Osama bin Laden happens to be Muslim. They interviewed an imam from Brampton. He said that some of the radicals do this because in the Quran, it says something, (I forgot) but they totally misinterpret what the Quran was saying. So not all muslims are terrorists. Less than 1%. Like someone said above, Islam is a religion of peace, not violence. It's incredible that just one misinterpretation of a verse in the Quran can end up killing thousands of innocent people.

Its because of people like you why we won't win any more wars with terrorists. Until you recognize its their philosophy thats leading them to be terrorists, we won't win. Patton was a better military general than any in the last 50 years.

iloveagoodbrew, if we took your ideas and used them in the war on terror, we'd actually justify all of their ridiculous claims and prduce about 100 times more terrorists than already exist.

And from my own personal experiences...

I have a good friend who's religion is Islam, and he is probably the most peaceful guy that I know. I know a few other people who follow Islam and they are also extremely peaceful and caring people. They hate terrorism probably more than you do.

I agree.

10 char.

By the time you realize I am right, America will probably be taken over by the mullahs already. I feel a bit like Cassandra :/

And by the way.. we should carpetbomb the middle east? that really worked well in vietnam, lol...

Lets see. Mr. Bush, I disagree with almost all of your social policies, I think that invading Iraq will be seen as one of the stupidest moves in the history of the US, I think that you havent even tried for looking for Osama, I hate the fact that in essence, an entire region of retards determined the course of the United States, I hate the fact that you created a goddamn holy war against the US. That all being, said, Id love to talk to Karl Rove, he seems like the most intelligent person in that White House. Oh yea, Im starting my own oil company, if you ever gain control of Iraq, can I get some of those lovely oil fields that you pretty much already divided among the US oil companies? Remember that little map the New York Times got ahold of in 2003 that had the oilfields already divided by company? Can I get in on that?

Thanks buddy.

Seems to have worked in Dresden and Tokyo eh? We never lost in Vn if you go by territory lost or gained. We lost because of the media.

Vietnam was the start of a totally new type of warfare. Carpetbombing became unsuccessful. We didn't win the war because we didn't fight the way we should have, in a new way, not a traditional way.

yea it wasnt the media's fault, atomicfusion is right on that one.

Such things as the Army helicopter contracts going to Huey production really screwed us over once those copters got to Vietnam. Thats only one example of how the military messed up preparation.

I agree with most of what you said except this:

"I hate the fact that you created a goddamn holy war against the US."

Bush did not create the holy war. The fundamentalists and terrorists hate our very way of life. It is the idea of America they hate. One man didn't create that.

Well I dont mean literally. But by him saying that he was made president by God...he was making the US into this Christiany entity...and yes, the terrorists have a large part of it as well.

Liberals today are english teachers of tommrow making 40K a year from a prestigeouse university. Conservatives will be the Doctors, engineers, Pharmacists, vets, lawyers, economists, Businessmen making good money.
