<p>Does anyone, especially past interns, have any information on how enterable research from this program would be in competitions like Siemmens or ISTS?</p>
<p>I’m not quite sure when the results will be out because I read on the site that it’s coming our sometime in April… I was reading a 2011 thread and turns out that they kept on delaying and finally the results came out around [april 10 - april 12 ish]… sighthis is like my backup lol if i don’t get in… idk what i’m gonna do this summer…</p>
<p>Meh. If I don’t get in, I go to college early and take classes early. All of these summer internships are a crap shoot anyway.</p>

<p>well if they’re paying us $1,500 bucks that means we will do some work at least… idk… this is my back up, i don’t really want to do this one all that much… i feel like i should just email professors if i don’t get in, but on the second thought, i might email professors even if i do get in here because the research topics aren’t really within my interest… should i?</p>

<p>i mean like… i’m not so interested in doing research at GWC anymore… although the summer program experience will be pretty fun… just that i’d rather choose a topic i’m interested in…even tho it’s harder to get independent research opportunities with profs… idk also i’m from california so i though the priorities will be given to students from Iowa first…</p>
