<p>The GWid is your GW ID number. I don’t believe they assign GWids until you enroll as a student, but I could be wrong. You could check the online Admissions Q & A site and post that question or see whether there already exists information about the GWid.</p>
<p>You get yours by email. I know for sure that you will get your GW ID before you decide to come, since you use the GW ID to check your admissions status online</p>

<p>You should get it in an email soon. The emails for all colleges get a little backed up right around the early deadlines, so I would just wait a few more days. If you don’t get it by the end of this week I would call or send an email asking why you haven’t gotten it yet.</p>
<p>My son did not get his, so we emailed them. It took them a few days, but they responded to our email and gave us the number. Do not bother calling, they will not give you the number over the phone.</p>
