So my friend got into GWU and absolutely loves the school. The school has the fun, party atmosphere but also opportunity for academic growth. It's definitely got prestige and nothing beats being in DC. But is GWU good for a potential Psychology (concentration in Neuroscience) major who also wants to havea pre-med track?

Have you thought about the Seven-Year Med Program at GW? You do three years of Undergrad and four years of Med School. You don’t have to take the MCATs. GW use to have this program called Early Selection where you can do four years of college (any major you want, but you have to do the pre-med prerequisites) and then enter the Med School. You apply your sophomore year. No MCATs either. That program was AMAZING. I knew a bunch of people who did it.

I thought of the seven year program, but I believe you have to apply into it. You can’t switch in.
