GWU Business Vs. UMich

I was rejected at my top choices, Georgetown, Penn, and USC, and am now deciding between UMich, GWU, or Arizona State. I got a full ride at ASU but no financial aid or scholorships at UMich or GWU. I want to study business and applied pre admit to Ross but was rejected.

I have visited GWU and liked it, but have not been to UM. I am having a hard time deciding becasue I know that UM is a better school than GW but I think that being in DC would provide many great opportunities for internships and networking that just are not avialbe in a small college town.

Do you think that UM is still better even with the possiblity of not getting into Ross next year?

im now deciding between mich and gwu...but for polisci.
on the business side of things, i hear that Mich is amazing.
did you get into ross?
many top firms hire students right after graduation in some sort of career expo on campus.
i would seriously visit campus, or at the very least check out the website and call the department.

Def. visit campus because they are completely different. Campus life is completely different. Whereas UMICH is geared a lot towards sports, GW has basketball as their main sport. Michigan's campus is also completely different than GW's campus being in the middle of the city. Even speaking from Ohio State's campus in Columbus, GW is integrated into the city which is different than Ohio State. As for education, both are great schools and both have opportunities depending on whether you want to take advantage of them. Probably the largest different in terms of internships is that almost everyone on GW's campus takes part an in internship (I think the rate is somewhere around 80-90%.) Though I'm not sure what UMICH's internship rate is. Having everyone doing the same thing you are doing helps to create a support atmosphere around you.
