So do you guys think the acceptance rate will be lower or higher this year for Early Decision? It was 75% last year which was a jump from 45% the year previous but there were way less applicants last year than the year before!

75% is high so I guess lower. It depends how many people applied ED I, which we assume is a smaller pool, but I do hope the acceptance rate is as high again so that we all are accepted!

@HeyItsNick I think it will be about 50%

It’s advertised as 68% and I know they love ED applicants because of how much we all want GW. They say they try to fill 1/3-1/2 of the freshman class with ED so it depends on how many people apply

@HeyItsNick I think it will be about 50%

Is anyone applying for engineering?
Also, my FAFSA and CSS haven’t shown as received yet. Is this happening for anyone else?

@gwengineering FAFSA won’t show up because that form isn’t due until like February sometime but did you turn in your CSS profile late?

Contact the Office of Fin Aid today. CSS Profiles will be used to calculate the aid estimate that we will get when the decisions are released which are hopefully next week  so you need to make sure they have it!

is having a css profile necessary? I didnt apply for financial aid or anything

@colonial2020 I didn’t either, the website only says it’s necessary if you apply for financial aid, and I talked to my college advisor and she said that I shouldn’t need it, and if I actually did, GW would contact me for sure.
