GWU interview

I have a few questions...

When can I sign up for interviews?
who interviews you?
What are the hardest questions they ask?

T!hanks

I’m pretty sure you sign-up for interviews on the GW Activity Center site you use for your admissions app.

I’d recommend interviewing on-campus IF possible. We did a tour the same day and my “S” interviewed after the tour so he’d have a lot to talk about and ask questions.

You are interviewed on-campus by an Admissions Officer or Senior College Student Admissions assistant in Rice Hall.

If you get a GW student interviewer - dont’ fret. My “S” got a senior GW student - his interview lasted over an hour while other students came and went. He obviously hit it off and got a very good review. He’s now a sophomore.

Remember - be prepared to talk about “GW” and not just “DC”.

CJ

My son interviewed off campus when representatives from GW were in our area. He actually interviewed with an alumni and that lasted over an hour and went very well. He got accepted ED1 to Elliott.

thanks everyone!

I was just wondering if either of you know when i can make the interview?

I checked online and it said “You can register at this webpage starting the summer of 2011”.

You can sign up for an interview after you have completed at least the first portion of your application. At least, that was the deal last fall.

I’ve completed the first part and most of the second, except for the essay (which i finished, but im looking it over still and trying to cut out a few more words)

And submitted it? I didn’t know you could do that so early, but if you have, you should be able to sign up for an interview via the portal.
