Also what do you think my chances are for the SEAS transfer merit scholarship for $20k? The min. requirements were 3.7 gpa for 60+ units? I will need either that one or the $15k (3.2 gpa/30 units) to be able to attend. I do not qualify for federal aid but my family doesn’t have this much money laying around either.

I am not to familiar with transfers but I would say that you have a really good chance of getting in as a transfer. You also have a higher GPA and more units than needed for the scholarships. So you have a good chance for that also.

The fact that there is a $15k scholarship for 3.2 transfers and your gpa is 3.86 makes me think that you have a good chance of getting in. You have some good ECs as well showing you were really involved with your community college. And you have tons of honors classes as well. You have a really good chance I would think.

I’m not familiar with CC transfers but all of your stats seem great. GPA is high and the fact that you pursued political activities alongside your many athletic ones would make you a good fit for GW
