GWU transfer?!?!

I have a question or two about transferring colleges. I am(in a few days) going to be starting my freshman year at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. One of the reasons I am going to Rutgers for freshman year is because there have been a lot of issues and things going on with my family the past year and I feel that I still need to remain close to them to help out as much as I can to make things easier for everyone. While I have nothing against the school, my true dream/wish/aspiration is to attend GWU and study Law. I know it may be early but I was wondering when I should start looking to apply for a transfer to GWU. While I maintained a 3.9 GPA in Highschool, my EC's were almost nonexistent and I would prefer to not send my HS transcript and such to GWU. I know that GWU does not look at HS stuff after if the transfer student has at least 30 credits. I am currently taking 16 credits and plan on doing similar next semester. Would it be too late to wait until I have 30 credits under my belt to apply for transfer or should I apply ASAP? Also is it easier to get in as a transfer to GWU? And is there anything I SHOULD do to give me better chances of getting in as a transfer?

Any help/info is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Anyone? any advice is greatly appreciated :)

If you don’t want GWU to consider your HS record and test scores, then you should wait a year and apply for a jr transfer. For the numbers on GWU admissions see:
