I just finished my second year at the Columbian college of arts and sciences at The George Washington University in DC and I just got accepted to the Fordham Rose Hill campus in the Bronx, nyc as a rising junior. Although I did make many friends at GW, I did not like the school nor the city but I only have two more years left. Should I transfer to Fordham to a City in which I like or Should I stay at GW?

You prefer the Bronx to DC? WHY???

^ Haha I was going to ask the same thing.

Well…depends on your major. If you really want to get the NYC feeling, don’t go to Rose Hill. It may be in NYC, but not Manhattan. Or, you could choose to transfer to Lincoln Center–which is much smaller btw.

I would stay at GW if the main reason for your wanting to transfer is for a different school location. GW is the better school anyway.

Why would you STAY if after two years you still did not like the school or city?

Go to Fordham but double check to be sure you are happy with your housing situation…some transfers are placed in off campus housing or accepted without housing.

Good luck! :)

You somehow think the BRONX is BETTER THAN D.C.? I would say stay at GW.
