GWU vs. Johns Hopkins, international relations

<p>Post you insites on the two different programs. How they compare in the rankings, differences in curriculum and overall college differences for their IR programs.</p>

<p>Hopkins no question. GWU enrolls a lot of the students that Hopkins does not admit. Sure it's fine to be in DC, but Hopkins and G'town SFS are the top programs in the area - it just depends on what you're looking for.
If admitted to JHU, almost everyone chooses JHU over GW for class size, campus life, quality of faculty, research opportunities, quality of peers on campus and not to mention cost. JHU is still one of the most affordable schools based on the packages they give for admitted students - average student debt is only about $14,000 where as GW most definitely does not come near that.</p>

<p>I was admitted to both GW and Hopkins...and I'm going to Hopkins! :) for all of the reasons WofI stated.</p>
