Gym Membership costs money?

I dunno about others but personally, I feel that the gym membership fee should have already been included in the tuition. Or in any case, can the gym be accessed on paid-as-per-use basis?

They could’ve tacked the $200 fee or whatever onto your tuition and no one would’ve noticed admist the $50,000 price tag. But, that’s penalizing people people who don’t use the gym. I would actually prefer that Cornell separate out the costs for the gym, for printing, and all the other nickel-and-dime charges. That way people can pay for exactly the services they want.

There are some free PE classes you can sign up for that also include a gym membership, so if you really want one, you can get one for free.

I disagree. I’d rather save the $200 I didn’t pay because I didn’t use the gym. The $200 was much better served in my case by paying for the PE fees for tennis.
