<p>I received a letter saying that I was denied for my first choice major, but my application is "suitable for admission in H&SS." Realistically speaking, what are my chances of admission. The way the letter was worded, it seemed that I had a good chance, but this could just be me. I did pre-college and nobody there or anywhere else received such an option. Does anybody know anything about this option?</p>

<p>I believe it means if you chose to enroll in HSS, they would accept you.</p>
