Haas and UCLA Business Econ chances

<p>Hello everyone,</p>

<p>I have a 3.8 and most likely be a 3.9 after this fall semester.
I plan to major in Business Economics at UCLA and also apply to Haas
INFO:
Extracurricular Activities/job/internship:
*Executive position at a business related club
* honors society
* red cross member
* volunteer at a religious temple
* insurance internship
* worked at a local theme park
* worked at local retail store
* volunteered a little at an orphanage in a third wold country </p>

<p>I have finished all classes required for haas and UCLA business econ</p>

<p>I currently have a 3.8 and plan on having a 3.9 by the end of fall.
What are my chances at haas or UCLA econ? Should i apply to Haas or just econ?</p>

<p>If you are from CCC, you may have a shot.
Just as a reminder, the average GPA for UCLA bizeconomics admitted students is about 3.93
If your are from OOS university, probably no chance…</p>

<p>For Haas, it will largely depend on your statements and whether or not they convey leadership and the defining principles. For LA, I would say it depends on what you earned B’s in. I would bet on a slightly lower GPA with killer statements getting into Haas over a 4.0 with average statements. Also, stats are stats; it’s how you present them in your resume and expand on them in your statements that will make the difference. </p>

<p>Make sure you solicit feedback on your statements from people who work at your top choices. Good luck.</p>
