HAAS APPLICANTS ONLY ! who got accepted and who didn't?

That's nice, I was thinking about joing student government but would it really matter for Business Admin because I would rather not take it and focus more on school and work if that would still give me a good chance at Haas.

CONGRATS HONGDA!!!!!!!!!!! sprinkles a ton of confetti
You were a great source of support for me and the UCLA rejection decision.

I now wait for my #1 USC, woot woot!
& Congrats to the rest of you as well! ^_^

i guess i have to give up on USC
june is toooo slow psh
meh the packing and moving is gonna be a crazy hassel

For Harvard Biz:

I had a 4.0 and solid EC's, I think the best ones were PTK President and working with a non-profit for at-risk college students. But if you want my guess for why I somehow made the cut, it would be my experience in the Navy, specifically working with people from 7 different countries, and how I related that to a global economy and diversity in my essay. I think a strong essay that realy identifies you as a person is the difference maker.

I got in!

4.0 gpa. Solid ECs. President of Student Business Assoc. ASB senator, AGS, etc.

i guess they picked out very different qualities in each of us...

btw anyone knows erm... about the mandatory summer school? T - T
sigh.... that means i gotta start packing soon

What did most of you guys say 2 years ago when you decided to work your *** off for Haas? Were you like how I am where you have all these opportunities and saw it as a dream to get there and how happy you would be if you got in? Did you feel that it was too true to come true but still try anyway? How do you feel now?

You guys are no different than those 4.0 students in high school, heck you've ended up in a better place than them, just imagine that.

I am very proud of all of you, it is an inspiration for me.

by the way what schools were your back up?

yes. there are two courses we need to take -- financial accounting and managerial accounting. Could you log in? When I typed my CalNet ID and new passphrassed...I still couldn't get in.

harvard. I recommand you to join Student Government, but you have to be a Controller, President, or VP.

HarvardBusiness:

Yes, join school government and try to be active in school-wide and district committees. I think the fact that I was founder and president of the student business association on my campus helped me enormously. We were probably the most active group on my campus and actually organized events/programs, etc. Also, get some unique business/internship experience. Mine was limited to contract jobs for AT&T and Google. I've only been in community college three semesters so it still seems totally unreal to me. My backup schools were UC Irvine, USC, and Georgetown. I'm still waiting to hear from Stanford.

guys!!
When you click "Review Haas policies," Can you see anything or can you log in?

congratulations people that is really a great achievement that you all have accomplished. WOOHOOO

did anyone get a scholarshi? or applying to haas is like giving up a full scholarship that you could've gotten as another major?

Who cares about scholarship.....You are in Haas, man!!!! You will have a nice job after your graduation(most likely). Sell your house, cars, or even underwears. It's a promising "stock" that you should invest.

i got in !!!!!!!!! omg i'm so excited.

community college transfer
gpa: 3.947
student council in high school, future business leaders of america, eagle scout, uc davis med center volunteer, business experience (in my job), etc.

congrats to others who were admitted....two years at the c.c. were so worth it

congrats to you too!!! see you there!

dam vrlobo thats overkill

have you registered summer classes yet? Are you guys gonna live on-campus?

u don't have to hurry to register for classes... u should look at the haas site... space is reserved for us...
i think i m gonna live in campus...
