I invite you all to judge me here, and offer no-punches-pulled criticism:

I actually have a genuine interest in business and feel confident that I will be able to thoroughly demonstrate this in my personal statement. Assuming this to be true, how would you comment on the likelihood of my transfer acceptance?

Man your stats are pretty good and your ECs for Haas seem very good. Are you going to complete the prerequisites for Haas not just UCLA? Even if you do complete all the prerequisites I would say.... Who knows? Haas is probably the biggest mystery when it comes to UC transferring, It would not surprise me if you got in (actually anyone who gets in kind of surprises me) and it definitely would not surprise me if you got rejected. For UCLA if you complete all prerequisites and keep that GPA up I would say you are a match with a good chance of being accepted.

I think you have a fairly good shot, but it's a toss up for anyone, really. You have 33 units ahead of you? How many units have you accumulated now? I assume you're applying this fall right? If that's the case, they won't even look at your winter or spring grades so it doesn't really matter.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm currently in the process of developing my personal statement. What do you think it was about your own personal statements that stood out at Haas?

Neither of us applied to Haas. I'm actually applying next year, but I've been around the boards long enough to know that a lot of qualified people were rejected there.

after 33 units done have u calculated whats ur max possible GPA?
the only worthy EC would be the investment club.
unless ur nationals this and that
or u demonstrate a lot of leadership in ur PS
cuz seriously most people just think CC stuff are BS.
purchasing department job would probably count. - if u can develop this experience and make it unique, powerful and rewarding then that would probably be ur ticket if u got in

do as much of the breadth req as possible.
then just go to church till april 30th 2009
