Haas (the program & compared to other schools)

First off: how easy/hard is it to get into Haas School of Business as an undergrad at Berk? I've heard it's a competitive process.

Secondly: how is Haas in comparison to NYU Stern, USC Marshall, and majoring in economics at Berk or a private school such as Northwestern?

I hear it's pretty hard to get into Haas.
There's like a 45% acceptance rate.

In comparison to other undergrad business programs, I know that Haas is ranked third, behind Penn's Wharton and MIT's Sloan.

I would appreciate an answer to this one too. I'm deciding between berkeley and washu and one of the cons is that berkeley isn't guaranteeing me a spot in the business program. Are there stats of people who did get in? What happened if you didn't get in?

This is the correct one for people who are already at Berkeley and are applying. The one above is for transfers.

Haas is definitely one of the most respected programs in the nation. If you want to work in NYC with prestigious banks, Haas is definitely the way to go vs USC Marshall. (I'm not sure about NYU Stern, though I know it's also very strong).

where do most Haas students end up after graduation? student profiles on the Haas undergrad website feature a lot of students who are getting jobs right after graduating.. is it difficult/uncommon for Haas students to go on to other professional schools, grad school, med school, law school, etc?

that website helped, thanks!

are there any current Haas students who would be willing to share their plans after graduation?
