I'm A Bit Confused. My Friend Got Into Haas But They Sent Him An Acceptance Letter To L&s Because He Wasn't Finished With Is Requirements. Is This Normal?

do a google search on haas and read up.....you dont get into haas as a freshman, you apply after 2nd year

Is your friend a transfer student or an incoming freshman???

If your friend is a transfer, which I highly doubt, then he shouldn't have been accepted since he didn't complete the requirements. If he's a freshman, then he's got into L&S because that's the starting point for ALL students who want to apply to Haas during their junior year. Haas IS NOT Wharton. You get into Cal but not Haas automatically. At Penn, you get to apply directly to Wharton during your application season. If you get into Penn and applied to Wharton, you get into both automatically.

Therefore, those who stated Undecided/Pre-Business remain part of L&S until they declare a major, and if it's outside L&S, as in Haas' case, then you must first fulfill ALL requirements before you submit your transcript to the college's office.
