Had reading 660, math 700, and writing 630 (6 on essay!) and feel like I can still do better on all three. I used the College Board's official guide book and took all 8 tests. It predicted fairly well my test scores. So now, how do I improve? Is Princeton Review's 11 SAT book good practice for me? I really want to improve writing my essay.

w/ all of CB's blue book tests used up, I suggest you take tests out of 10 Real SATs (the old red book). CB's officiai course may be even better w/ about 5 practice real tests, but that's about $70. I wouldn't pay the extra dollars but maybe you would like to. CHOOSE EITHER OF THOSE OPTIONS OVER PRINCETON REVIEW'S BOOK (or any other non-official tests).

Yes, I also agree, try not use non-official test-prep materials.

What colleges are you planning to apply to, kwyjibo? Just wonderin' what u're aimin' for!

Dartmouth, UVA, BC, BU, Tufts. Aiming for 2200.

I can definitely see why I shouldn't take any practice tests from companies other than ETS. I tried one of them and the questions were very far off from the blue book and felt synthetic. However, other than 10 Real SATs (my friend who's graduating gave that to me), I really don't have any other real sources. Of course, I will review the blue book but I really can't afford the $70 for the online course. It's just not worth it imo. Any other sources?

i got a 1990 too .. damn 10 points. so close but so far

dude the online course is just the blue book w/answer explanations. no joke.

all the 'quizzes' and tests come straight from the blue book.

anybody know of any more collegeboard sources?
