<p>I know aid is a first-come first serve type of deal so I am soo worried! :(
Our EFC is around 6k after we sent in an amended tax return. I was selected for verification so I need to submit a tax return of my parents (paper copy since I wasn't eligible for the online retrieval)
And our amended tax return is still being mailed to the IRS, and then it has to be processed then I'm gonna have to request the tax return transcript and that'll be even more days, it'll be like a month before I know how much financial aid I'm gonna get. Im so worried!! And I'm not eligible for pellgrant and although our EFC is around 6000my parents can't pay for that, I'm just so worried.
I'm the first kid in my family going to college and I just want to get at least some financial aid :(
I already accepted so ugh I'm hoping I get some, do you guys think ill get some aid?
A lot of my friends with an EFC of 0 got almost full rides to UT with aid so I'm just soo stressed out right now</p>
