Had to submit my Grad App past due date

So, I am applying to PhD Electrical Engineering. I thought I had to wait for all of my recommenders to submit their evaluations before I submit my application. The thing is one of my recommenders agreed to my request really really late, and he has not submitted the recommendation for me.

Being anxious, I decided to just submit my application, even though one of my recommenders have not submitted his recommendation. It was several hours past December 15th (the due date), and the system, while still letting me to access my application, would not let me to choose the term in which I am applying. As a result, I could not submit my application!!! I am really depressed because of this.

Please help me, what should I do???
I am planning to immediately call the admission office really early in the morning tomorrow, and explain my situation to them.

Hi guys, please respond, probably you have had a similar experience. Thank you

well, you should call; you really have nothing to lose…

In the future, remember to always submit the main app first. Typically, grad schools won’t blame you if your supporting documents arrive late, but a late primary application is a good excuse for rejection.

I’ve also had problems with unresponsive letter writers in the past, but I made sure to submit the main apps on time. Also, keep in mind that Stanford is on Pacific Standard Time while ApplyYourself’s servers are on the East Coast, so if the app timestamp shows anything before 3am EST, you’re fine.
