HADES Chances???

<p>Hey all! I will be applying for HADES, and would like to know my chances of getting in.
I'm currently in 9th grade, and am studying in a good private school that usually sends students to good colleges, but not many to Ivys. I will be applying for 10th grade.</p>

<p>I'm in the highest Math level possible for my grade (Alg II H), and take the highest level of French for my grade (French III). I am working hard to get A's in all subjects. I may end up with one or two B+. Will that hurt my chance? </p>

<p>I also have been taking Martial Arts for 10 years, and am one rank away from black belt. I also teach martial arts for the past 1.5 years. I go to computer programming class for the last 1 year on weekends.</p>

<p>I've been learning Violin for 7 years, and have played at a couple recitals and concerts, and won a few awards. I will be taking the SSAT in November.</p>

<p>I also play Clarinet and part of concert band (3 years)and Jazz band 1 year(play Tenor Sax). </p>

<p>Dude…seriously chill. You have a chance. You have pretty good ECs. You have a better chance than me. Try to get a 90 or above on the SSAT. And about those B-pluses, it wont kill you. Just try to get at least one of them up to an A. And have a good interview and keep thinking positive. It is a known fact that if you don’t think positive, you’re more likely to fail. You’re gonna be all right. This is from a person applying to Exeter.</p>

<p>I’m applying to Exeter as well. However, my school has horrible EC’s and clubs for the middle school. I know the interview counts a lot, probably more than the SSAT score. I think the SSAT score is just a standard (even though I am extremely nervous to take it next month).</p>
