oh i just realized.. i had applied for the double major which they said would be harder to get into ... and said told them to only consider me for that...hmm

idlaunva, i got waitlisted from lehigh, but it was a school that i really wanted to go to. you sound like the most egotistical, ignorant, brat ive ever heard.
"lehigh can go ahead and be the mediocre school it will always be". some people on here actually really like lehigh and would love to attend. And to those who got in, congratulations, im happy for you. 5 minutes ago I was envious of all of you, but now im just happy OP didnt get in. He/She can go ruin whatever "GREAT SCHOOL" they got into next year. Im sure that theyll make lots of friends.

well one reason could have been interest. From what i've heard and researched Lehigh weighs heavily upon the fact that you show interest in them by visiting and/or interviewing. I saw your stats on the other post, and they were noticably better than mine, but I visited twice and interviewed, as well as kept in touch, and was waitlisted. It's clear to me that they had reason to believe they'd be your safety..

You can keep calling lehigh a mediocre school, but obviously you weren't even good enough for this "mediocre" school. Do a little bit of research, it was ranked #33 on the USNews report for top universities in the nation. USC doesnt even rank on any of their lists. I know people who would pick lehigh over harvard because Ivies are just a brand name. you know, $5 for the education $50000 for the ego. That kind of thing.
