Haha, nice. Wat's the extent of your powerpoint skills? I remember setting up some basic games (I think I did a jeopardy clone, and one of those interactive fiction things once), will yours have much interactivity?

What does you school do with its summer assignments (reading-wise)? We always have to turn in any essays/written-work on the first day, and then we usually have a quiz on the following week (on each).

Last year in USHistory, we read "founding brothers" and then had to write a 6 page essay for it (assigned on that Friday) for the next Monday. Alot of people dropped the class that weekend, haha.

Well, I'm a CC'er [as proven by my sickening number of posts! haha] so the extent of my powerpoint skills is endless... lol. I was going to have the whole thing be interactive, but since I only have a few hours to do the whole thing, I'm slacking on that.. but the whole thing looks quite nice, I think. Plus the teacher I'm doing it for is uber impressed if you have anything other than Times New Roman font on a white background... uhhh.. this year'll be interesting lol.

Usually our reading requirements are the same as what you said, but this year they're going easy on us [or on me, at least]. We're having a test the first day for our reading things, but usually we have hugeass projects and essays to write.

Lol everybody dropped out of my USH class because it was the toughest teacher in the school [but my favorite, lol]. We ended up with like 10 kids in the class.. He's the teacher for the Euro class this year too, so I'm one of like 5 people who signed up. But he's got a lot of leverage with the system, so they still made the class even without the 11 or something required students.

Like, this is quite ridiculous. You have been a part of this since two months ago and I have been a member since almost two years ago, and your post count outstrips mine. =O

And I'm still coming on here for procrastination purposes. =] Econ papeeeeer. >.<

^ Haha my average is going to go down to like.. zero starting tomorrow, because school is starting :[ I've only been on here so much so I don't have to do my summer homework, lol.

Ha, back to the summer homework (I didn't realize there were two pages when i posted. :))

I still have to write an essay for debate. Choose a philosopher of choice and write about the following;
What is the name of your philosopher? (St. Thomas Aquinas)
Where are they from?
How do they view mankind?
How do they view death?
How do they feel about government?
What major concepts did they introduce into the world of philosophy?
So what? (Real life application)

Has to be two-five pages and have a works cited page. It should be easy, except my teacher well, you never know how she'll grade it so it has to be almost perfect.

I also need to read Dune and begin my "space project/brochure" on Jupiter. Honors English is really easy at my school.

I need to practice marching music, but I guess its too late for that since band camp starts 8:00 am tomorrow.

I need to study Latin. I can't remember my basic endings anymore. :)

Band camp was awesome. I at least have an excuse for not practicing. I switched instruments last moment since I'm too whimpy (:() to march the sousa.

Oh bs if I wasn't gone this whole week because of gaming projects and tournaments (both of which sound incredibly nerdy but you'd be surprised at the people who attend), I'd be #1 like nothing up there...everyone knows I'm the major poster of HSL on here in the summer.
