<p>and where the hell IS merced? i keep hearing of this place and i know it’s a new campus and maybe i just suck at california geography, but from the fact i have no idea where the hell it is, it sounds like this mystical place no one really knows about.</p>

<p>Aw c’mon guys, UC Merced needs to have some grace period (give it 10 - 20 years) before being evaluated to other UCs. </p>

<p>UC Merced is like a baby, if you kick it too much during its young life just because it’s young it’ll turn ■■■■■■■■ in later life. You hold off those kicks for about 20 years for it to mature where then those kicks could be validated :)</p>

<p>I have no idea what’s wrong with UC Riverside though…if there is something wrong.</p>
