HAHAHAHA. Riverside just rejected me!

Ha, I wasn't actually planning on going to UCLA, even if I had gotten in. Did kind of had my heart set on Davis though.

Now the apartment hunt begins!

changusmc,

My friend has a 4.0 GPA and got denied to UCLA. Now that isn't fair.

Will the schools even tell you why you were denied?

"post up the rejection page screen shot, i dont think anyone's seen it b4" LMFAO

No way-- that's got to be a mistake.

I'm starting to feel really lucky I got in everywhere last year even though I had a high gpa.

You should call up UCR and ask why they rejected you

That's not a bad idea. I wonder if they'll trip all over themselves as they try and think of a reason.

Looks like Riverside finally caught on to the big secret... They realize that the true path to prestige is to deny as many highly qualified applicants as possible. I'm expecting to hear some great things about them in the future..

Yes, it is; your friend didn't complete the prereqs.

Ektaylor,

They don't offer every pre-req at my community college. We both completed every pre-req that my CC offers.

How fair is that? How is anyone from my college suppose to transfer as a political science major. They might as well block political science students from transferring from my CC.

You said in previous posts that hadn't completed 4 of the prereqs for UCB?

Would you mind listing which courses, as I don't that is even possible.

In my opinion you're not limited to one CC. If one doesn't have the prereqs, jump to the other.

In my opinion transferring should be about how strong of a student you are, not on the fact that you're able to jump through the often ridiculous hoops schools lay out for you. And what if there's a scenario where there is only one junior college in your area?

Have fun in reality.

Obviously you don't understand the part where it says "In my opinion"

lol@Ektaylor

In my opinion, we should be hand fed and pampered.

I understand it's your opinion; but, obviously you don't understand the fact I can disagree with your opinion.

I mean, is it your contention because it is your opinion that it should be intellectually dormant -- free from scrutiny? I fail to see your logic, here.

You may not think you should be required to comply with the procedures set in place by the UCs, and the process as a whole, but those in which you seek approval do. You're opinion amounts to nothing but intellectual laziness.

That actually doesn't look like a rejection. It says they couldn't accept you because you didn't meet eligibility requirements, which is different from a rejection for not being qualified. The same thing happened to my sister when they got confused with her overseas grades. I'd call (if you care at all, that is) and ask them what went wrong.
