Hail the 1000th post! And my graceful entry into the Senior Members' Lounge!

wait, who's Roger?

Roger Dooley?

The "big man" on CC. The Adminstrator.

bannasinpajamas, i don't keep count either.. i didn't know about my 1000th post until someone congratulated me on it. I think i spent it in my TPBM thread lol

oh my i totally forgotten about this thread! haha a big thanks to everyone who welcomed me!

: ))) earned her Junior ststus sometime ago too! Congrats :D

Hey, I'm a Member, not a Junior! Anyway, thanks:D But I do not feel satisfied with a Member's degree, so I shall pursue other heights:D

I've only got like 400 something posts, but I've been on these forums longer than most of you -- I just don't post a lot.

I'm a senior and I've been here since 8th grade. :D Yay for old people.

Wow, celebrian, that's amazing! After a while, do the questions become a little monotonous or are you a lot more altruistic than I and think that's expected with every season of applicants?

I only discovered College Confidential last year around summer time, but I never clicked on the Discussion button until the beginning of this month. To think such an alive community existed behind a little oval! :D

dancing a jig Yes!

I assume that everyone knows what I know- which of course isn't true. So lately I've been good at not assuming these kinds of things. Sometimes I'm more altruistic than other times, but sometimes I really wish people would take advantage of search capabilites lol! :D

Yeah...I was going to post a thread asking about Dickinson, then ran a search and WOW, I got a little dazed at the results. I do sometimes wish some college forums were active so questions could be asked specifically of those attending/alum instead of bothering others.

stacey were you a member of the old (obselete artifacted fossilized) CC forum? so they transferred your no. of posts over?

Yes, she and lots of people are here from the old CC. However, celebrian (23 on old cc, 25 on new), Carolyn, TheDad, zante, Ariesathena, and all the other old-timers started over in posts (e.g. at 0). The old CC didn't do a post count. :)

Wow it's amazing how many people here have 1000 posts... I should be joining you all in the near future, I'm not that far off of 1000 posts... Now if you add in the posts I had on the old CC then I'd jump up by another 400-500.

What do those numbers mean? Dear god, don't let them be her age...

No lol! I was celebrian23 on the old forums, now I'm celebrian25. I'm only 17 years old lol!

If it wasn't for the game threads, I'd probably still be a junior member! :p

Same for me. TPBM + OR + Word Assocation probably combine to like 400 posts. =P

I only used the TPBM ones. didn't bother about the other two. :D

A lot of people get their posts from ED/EA game threads (hey, you need something to relieve the stress!). A good many of mine came from the (now sadly deceased) U Chicago word association thread.

ha... and im still in the 2 digits...

congrats banedon17!
