<p>Yeah, first of all, if you actually read what the OP wrote, she is not talking about donating hair to make wigs for cancer victims.</p>
<p>She is talking about donating hair the school itself, for their wig department.</p>
<p>And as someone else pointed out, Locks of Love is a nice idea, but growing and cutting your hair is not going to get someone into a school they wouldn't otherwise get into.</p>
<p>And finally, as also has been pointed out, Locks of Love has come under more scrutiny recently and its record of charitable works is not getting it any gold stars.</p>
