Half Asian, Half Caucasian

Anyone else here Half Asian, Half Caucasian?

How will this affect college apps? Benefit or detriment?

Me.
I don’t think it’ll help at all, it’ll probably will hurt us in admissions.

neither help nor hurt.

I am. Half Korean, Half Caucasian (mix of Irish, German, English). But I was born and lived a while in Korea, so they’ll see that

Playing the race card is so last century. Colleges are more interested in what’s under the skin.

I probably could indicate “White” only, since my last name is white, but they’ll see that my mom went to college in China anyways. So I guess it’s pointless trying to hide it.

Asians don’t really get an increased percent into college admissions anymore. Since we’re all over achievers, they want to choose best among the best. So race is soooo last century.

There are still some colleges that use AA.
