Approximately how long does it take to receive your books using "medial mail" shipping from half.com?

anywhere from 7 days to 2 weeks. The main thing, is the seller processes the order quickly and sends it out fast. That was the main problem I had last year. Otherwise, you may want to ship it to your dorm room (call the front desk and ask for what your address would be like).

7 days to 2 weeks? That should give me enough time then. I'm living in the university apartments, so I'll have them ship it there. Thanks. :)

Where does the book go if you have not moved into your university apartment? I know if you live in the dorms, it went to sproul, but what about the university apt?

It should still go there? Since it's an apartment deal they'll leave it outside the door most likely, and if not, they should leave you a note for pickup whenever you are available (or leave it at the post office).

"Leave it outside the door" seems a little scary, haha. Someone could steal it!

Bleh, unsure on what to do. Oh well, I still have a week to go and I guess I could just drive back if a book does not arrive on time :(.

Contact the postal office and go through the process of forwarding your packages there. This way, you will not have to worry!

My apartment does not have a mail room. I'd rather not have the packages lingering outside of the mail boxes.

I seriously doubt that it'd get there if you're moving in next week. (saturday that is). 5 business days, if you order on monday it'll get there midweek of the next week if they do it fast. Also, where are you ordering it from?

I'm ordering it from various places (half, ecampus, B&N).

I took the easy way out and just chose to have them shipped to my house. I have friends who commute and have to pass my house on the way to UCLA, so I can ask them if they could bring me my books if some don't end up here quick enough.

oh i mean, i just meant from where in the states :D but i'm sure you have it figured out.
