<p>what exactly does it mean to get out of HALF of the R&C requirement with a 4 in AP English? how can you take half a requirement?</p>

<p>because normally the requirement is for 2 semesters. getting out of half of it means you get out of one semester.</p>

<p>Indeed, the half normally with "A" in the title, such as R1a. You have to take the second, or "B" half. And the 4 you mention would work with either the ap english language or lit test.</p>
