<p>Hampton University, like fellow private HBCUs Howard, Morehouse and Spelman, has a proud history. It’s produced some very successful people over the years in all walks of life. In recent years it has been somewhate outshined in the public’s eyes by its HBCU compatriots, but not because of any failings.</p>
<p>By the way, the campus is quite picturesque.</p>
