• Summer Programs

o CTY Crytography JHU
o Summer@Brown- Genetics and Philosophy

I want to major in Applied Mathematics or Economics at these schools:

UChicago, Northwestern, Berkley, Columbia, Stanford, Cornell, McGill, UPenn, Amherst, Williams, Caltech, Harvard (I might as well), Princeton, JHU, Rice, Brown, UMich, Swarthmore...to name a few. These are in no particular order.

Where should I ED? I love Caltech, UPenn and UChicago equally.

Help! 10chars

Caltech, UPenn and UChicago are SO DIFFERENT from each other! I'd say Penn if it were me, but my goodness - what is it about them that makes you love them equally?

Well, Caltech epitomizes my nerdy-ness. They're extremely hardcore about Math Science and the amount of hands-on work you get exposed to is insurmountable. I just fell in love with UPenn's campus and I think that their engineering program is perfect for me, that is if I were to pursue engineering. given that I'm Indian by heritage, I might be forced into that profession. Anywho, Wharton seems something I would consider pursuing, seeing how I want to major in economics.

UChicago is beautiful in every aspect: aesthetically, socially, intellectually.

Any takers?

I think that you have a great shot at all of these schools!

Do something interesting this summer (internship, shadowing, volunteering) to make yourself come across more interesting on apps!

haha go for it! Nice PSAT........Anyways your SAT is really high, your GPA probably wasn't a 100 because of all of the AP's you took, and you probably will get into any school. Good luck applying to Columbia, since I am too. Although NYU has a much better program than Columbia.......................

Hey Ses... is your title a reference to 'My Hands Are Bananas'? BEST SONG EVER. I'ma visit you up there and we're gonna sing it together.

PS: in everywhere~

UChicago's Early Decision is open early action, it doesn't restrict you from applying elsewhere.

I agree that UChicago is very intellectually and esthetically appealing, but not socially. Maybe a special type of social life. Very special... :)
