I'm thinking about getting my Nov. SAT test re-scored. After reviewing the entire Math topic for this test and missing none of these, I got a 720. I sincerely doubt that I missed 4-6 easy/medium problems since I got an 800 on the last test with ease and I expected an 800 on this one (or at least 760ish minimum). Do you guys think this warrants getting the 50$ hand scoring? I'm a bit wary simply because most people are wrong and lose their deposit. I'd be a very small % and that's highly unlikely.

I’m rescoring too. It’s just for peace of mind, this is my last one, so yeah, it’s worth it for me. But i’m still gonna wait till Dec. 1st, when the report comes out.

Hey I also got an unusually low math score too. 740 instead of the expected 800… I’m thinking of re-scoring as well; I have college deadlines up and coming though. =

I’m thinking about just getting the QAS to make sure that I didn’t miss anything weird and then I’ll rescore. That way, I won’t waste my 50.

If there is a deadline for the rescore option, I would definitely look into it. Based on the Nov Math thread, I didn’t think you would miss any either.

There’s no QAS for November SATs I don’t think

Thanks for the replies guys. @Jdong217, yeah, you’re right. It’s only SAS, which is almost pointless. I might as well throw in the 50$ now. The money doesn’t really matter.

How do you request a handscore??? I looked all over the collegeboard website but I can’t find the method to send a request.

You have to call customer service. There’s a page about rescoring saying that it takes about a month to rescore.

It’s gonna take five weeks to rescore. Stupid collegeboard, they can score the entire country in 3 weeks but 1 rescore takes 5 weeks blah.

Anyways, does anyone know anybody who ever got their scores changed?

Bump!!!

Okay, so apparently I missed 4 math questions and they were all “difficult” problems. 2 Number & Operations, 1 Algebra & Functions, and 1 Data Analysis, Statistics, & Probability. I haven’t bought the hand scoring thing yet, but do you guys think this warrants it?
I really think I should get it now, especially since we must have covered most, if not all, of the hard questions on the Math topics for this SAT and I was right on each one of them. I would have understood if I missed 4 easy and medium questions, but this is the exact opposite. And no, I don’t think I accidentally misbubbled or put down a different answer from what I’m thinking currently. I’m for sure about this.

Just ordered it. I’ll let you guys know if my score changes. I now for sure know that there must be something wrong. There’s only 1 difficult question in the Data Analysis, Statistics, & Probability section of the Math. I think the dog question (how many ways could get to his master and back) is this question and I missed it apparently. The November SAT Math topic agreed with my answer so unless we all got the dog question wrong, and I don’t think I misbubbled, then I should get a changed score.

Actually the dog question didn’t fall under Data Analysis, Prob., etc because I got the answer wrong (put 6) but on my score report I have no mistakes in that category.

Oh, guess I was wrong then, haha. I really wonder what that question is though, so I can tell for certain or not. I was under the assumption that permutations/combinations counted as probability. I guess not.

if u dont mind, can someone explain the perumatation problem (question and answer) on the Nov SAT? Im taking the SAT this weekend and Im weak on those so any practice would help!
