Hand Scoring

Does anyone have any experience with this process? I'm considering it after getting a 33 in math when I expected a 35 at worst. I checked all my answers in the official thread and got all of them correct. In fact, I felt a lot more confident that I aced it than I did with the Reading/English sections (both of which I got 36s on).

Hahahahahaha

mabs, don’t make a big deal over it.
your score is very good.
with some hook, legacy, sports, etc, you are in range at some very top schools.
I got a 36 in math, but actually thought I got a 32-33.
your scores are fine.
if you want the test grid hand scored, then pay the extra fee and do it.
Good luck…

what was your overall composite?
Are you a senior?
If ur a senior then you really don’t have time to hand score (like me :P)
If you are a junior and you have the money, then go for it.
I would tell you that it might have been easy questions you missed or filled in bubbles wrong.
ACT/SAT are pretty accurate (at least that’s what they say) so I’d send that money to charity. :)

Well that thread is by no means “official” and it probabaly was an easy mistake you made in the first problems or in bubbling.

same prob with me. I was super confident with my reading section, as I scored 29+ always, but I only got a 26. Hand scoring takes 4-6 weeks tho, not worth it. Just take the test again unless you are a senior.
