Handle "finances" -> application form / admission

I want to apply for grad school and I'm not sure when the schools want me to send my "financial details" in. Do I have to state in the application form that I don't need financial aid? And do I have to send bank statements right away?
My parents reassure me that they will pay for everything. If all else fails and I would need to ask for financial aid, would there still be a chance? Or do I have to make 100% sure whether I can pay for everything or not in my application form?

Thanks for helping me

As far as I know (This is for undergrad but I guess the process wont be that different either). In Undergrad almost all colleges state that if you donot ask for financial aid for the first year then there is no chance for aid for the subsequent years. I think the major portion of application for international students is finances associated with it. So I think you wont be able to ask for financial aid if you didnt mention about it at the beginning atleast for a semester or a year. (Some schools might reconsider your application for next year or you maybe eligible for some sort of departmental aid)
