Handwritten essay in print or cursive?

Some of the schools ask for hand written essays. Is it better to write in print or cursive? It is obvious the schools are looking for good penmanship. Or else, why would they bother asking for a hand written copy. Cursive seems more elegant but neatness must also count.

I'm assuming whatever is more legible

cursive. more professional

Print.

I'd find cursive pretentious, lol... like really.

I agree. Also, print is easier to read. That's what I went with, anyway

Ya if you write in cursive you would look pretty ostentatious ...Im doing mine in print.

I wrote in print and in pencil. I'm screwing myself over on the presentation end of things (please don't yell about using pencil), but hopefully with the typed copy and the actual content will satisfy.

Go with very neat print. First type the essay, then edit it perfectly. Then find the perfect pen at the store and the perfect paper. Practice writing with the pen on the paper, then copy the whole thing. Good luck!

Whichever is most comfortable for you and looks neater. Either cursive or printing is fine as long as your printing isn't big bubble letters with hearts or stars dotting the i's ! :)

mix it up. Throw in random caps, lowercase, hieroglyphics, anything to entertain the reader.

I'm going to write mine in cursive though
whenever I write in print, the print ends up in cursive after a few lines

I vvr1t3 m1n3 lik dis u c, 1f dey c@n't reed deh ting den dey c@n't h@t3 0n 1t

If anyone can read that, I applaud you. =)

whatever is more you

Translation: I write mine like this you see, if they can't read then thing then they can't hate on it. I'm a pro.

gives you a snickers bar congratz!

I hate snickers. Do you have anything else?

I has a cabbage, do you like cabbages?

Sometimes. Is it home-grown, store-bought, raw? It all depends on the preparation. Anything's better than a snickers.

hmmm Well it has been growing on my back for seven years... it's benign don't worry! It perfectly edible!

type it. staple it to handwritten. (most schools require this cuz they know kids have horrible handwritting)
WHO THE HECK CARES WHETHER IT'S CURSIVE OR PRINT?! JUST WRITE THE ESSAY!!!
