<p>I'm typing everything. My handwriting is so bad, I've had teachers request that I never, ever (EVER) handwrite anything...haha</p>

<p>Thank you guys for this information. If I were an admission official I would have preferred the same thing. I first thought they employ these handwriting analysts that analyse essays handwritten from prospective CEOs or managers.</p>

<p>Brown used to require that the personal statement be handwritten -- it was one of its cute quirks. The theory was that if you handwrote it, chances are you also personally wrote it. It's only been a few years that they accepted word-processed essays, and now -- yes, they probably do prefer that you use a computer.</p>
