Happy B

Okay, so some people actually make/get/write cards and/or have presents for their friends. If you were friends with them for over a year, and they didn't get you a present or anything on your birthday, would you still get them a present on their birthday? What if this friend did things for your other friends' birthdays?

Depends on how much you value them as a friend, the fact that they probably don’t care that much for your friendship is the key thing here. Why would you want to be friends with someone who doesn’t care about you? If you really want to be friends with them then I would get them something small, but she’s not someone who’s going to be your bff.

Obviously not everyone is going to be able to do something for all of their friends’ birthday. I’m not bragging, but I have dozens of close friends, and even more friends I’ve known for “over a year”. Of course I can’t get each of them a present or card, let alone memorize/recall every one of their birthdays. (Don’t have a FB) So if your friend didn’t do anything for you, don’t feel bad at all. Instead, get them a present to let them know how much you appreciate their companionship! It could start a chain of gift exchanges :)

^ Haha, yeah it hasn’t been my birthday yet. I was just curious.
