Today, on the first day of classes for the 2020 fall semester, we want to wish all the UC Berkeley students an amazing year!
What are your expectations for this fall? Do you plan to return to campus or take online classes? How are you coping with the current situation? Let us know in the comments below!
My D20 elected to stay home for the Fall semester. She has a spot in Bowles Hall for the Spring semester (rooming with her best friend!) if the COVID situation improves. She is in the high risk category so she made the decision not to go. We would have supported her decision either way. The silver lining is that she can keep her local job which will help fill the empty time. She is excited about her classes which are oh-so-relevant in today’s world: The Election 2020, Modern Brit and American Lit: Pandemics, Intro to Amer Politics, Research and Writing at a Research University, and a Freshman seminar in Global Studies: Diversity, Identity, and Social Justice: America in Global Perspective.
Good luck Bears!!!
