We typically host a bbq. Instead, we hosted a grad party for our son and went to a couple of public fireworks displays. Here in the northeast, it’s going to be more gray, rainy weather.
We thought we’d see a movie last night with our son and his girlfriend. We were thoroughly enjoying it when, due to storms, the power cut out. So we left and drove home through a horrendous thunderstorm. Then we sat in the driveway at home for ten minutes waiting for the worst of it to pass.
The only fireworks today will be courtesy of Thor!

Kayaking and a neighborhood bbq. Then coming home to sit with the dog before the fireworks start.

Carnival and Fireworks last night. Parade this morning. Happy Fourth of July!!
Went to Yosemite yesterday, and today going to our city’s celebration in local park with food trucks, music, dancing, and other lighthearted entertainment. If it’s not too cloudy in the evening, I’ll try to find a nearby viewing spot to catch the fireworks in San Francisco.

Checked out the neighborhood 4th of July festival this morning.
For the rest of the day, just going to stay home and clean up the house, BBQ, and try to relax.
