Hard Math...

Hello everyone,
So I'm a high school sophomore in California, and I'm taking Linear Algebra this year (I've completed Algebra 1 through Calc Bc so far). The problem is I'm not doing too good. My question is, does this course affect my GPA/ go on my high school transcript? Technically, I think it's a community college course (i'm not sure tbh). My "instructor" told me that it doesn't affect my GPA, but one of my senior friends told me that its on her transcript (shes applying to colleges). Also, if I dont get a good grade (possibly a C), how would colleges look at this?

Thanks in advance!

It really depends on your school and how the community college classes are counted. At some schools you can do dual enrollment and complete community college classes that count towards your high school diploma, and those usually show up on your transcript (along with the grade). But if you are just enrolled in an enrichment program or taking college classes on the side, they may not. Ask your guidance counselor.

ok, thanks
