It is truly a very selective school and I learned it the hard way
Just for a note: I am still devastated, but ready for the next step.
Sorry for the bad news. But you are in good company. Good luck the rest of the way. You’ll find your place and will look back on this week’s news as just part of the process. All but the most lucky get rejections during college application time. It’s really a right of passage.
It is a hard school. Re-focus your search on schools where your GPA and ACT are at least in the middle 50% or better yet the top 25%, and be sure to have some safeties. I remember you saying you are pre-med and you were interested in ASU Barrett Honors College. That’s a good option. Best of luck.
@Corinthian I’m applying to Bucknell ED2. I’m hoping that the 50+% acceptance rate for ed helps me in this case
@JHUSoccer good luck! By the way, have you applied to ASU Barrett Honors? Since it’s a public university and non-binding you can apply while you wait to hear from Bucknell. I also think the sooner you apply the better chance of merit aid (or so I’ve heard).
@Corinthian I applied back in October. I hear back January 6th
If it makes you feel any better, I was somehow wait-listed at Barrett :))
